I have noticed that JAV tends to view/display broken imagery (incomplete object or subject). It is a rarity if they show the entire body from head to foot for very long, usually they always go to different view where some part is out of frame. Then there is the handheld camera work where they always zoom in and stay too long.
It seems to be this way with the still photography as well (broken imagery) where the bulk if not entire photoshoot has part of the body out of frame.
