I don’t know how much control a director has over that final product. Whatever happened, this was well done. The edits were kind of like a Guy Richie movie…..the sex scenes were often 5 minute pieces of a scene ….not a typical beginning and ending and then it cut away. For my jerking habits, a five minute contained scene with maximum erotic energy is perfect and efficient for getting a nut. So many JAV plots and sex scenes are formulaic. The Japanese are efficient, so I expect this is to keep production times fast and cost low to maximize profit. The best are original stories that closely follow a Manga in my opinion.
