The Gyaru fad (Gal or ganguro), is so dead and gone that it makes me sad. As a “foreigner” I find it so amusing and fun to watch, especially some years ago when it used to be huge. For most Japanese though, nowadays it’s an old and shameful trend already.

I think if done well and toned down it can be really attractive, but the soul of the trend calls for exaggeration.

For JAV gal lovers, there are only 2 choices. Watch the old videos, probably the best idea. Or to watch whichever new releases we can grab. Not as good, since the number of releases dropped very sharply.
